WFT requested for public’s donation of tree saplings to rehabilitate the forest in our tree planting site which was burned down by man-made forest fires.
30 students volunteered planted 1,000 seedlings of forest trees to be replant later at the Green Peafowl Conservation Center project site.

March 15, 2015 – WFT participated in “Mobile doctors” annual activities, carried out by Chiangmai University. WFT initiated a competition of “Green Peafowl Painting Contest” for families of patients seeking medical treatment from “Mobile doctors”.
December 17, 2015 –WFT took part in the 14 kilometers “Cycling for nature” activity from Srivichai Sub-district to Green Peafowl Conservation Center. 170 cyclists participated.
August 22, 2015 – Pisit na Patalung, WFT’s President and Anan Letrakul, Chair of the advisory committee of the Green Peafowl Conservation Center project, participated in the annual Buddhist merit making ceremony, at Wat Phra Phutthabat Tak Pha, Pa Sang District, Lamphun Province
Pisit na Patalung, WFT’s President distributed blankets to 20 families of the villager living near the project site.
WFT took part in the National Children’s day activities participated by 500 children.
From working closely with the local people, WFT came to realize that many of the people, especially young people, in the northern part of the country have never experienced wildlife or natural areas outside of their hometown. After consultation with M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra, it was concluded that M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra would donate Baht 200,000 for a 3-day, 760 kilometers field trip to bring 33 students and teachers from Li District on a bus tour from Lamphun province to the eastern part of the country, to experience their first large aquarium, first large open zoo, first mangrove forest, first sea turtle conservation center, and above all, their very first sight and first swim in the sea.
